I just found this file called XFree86config.new in file:/home/knoppix/Desktop/hdb2 is that the knoppix XFree86 config file with the right data? If so whats wrong in the Debian config? Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "XFree86 Configured" Screen 0 "Screen0"

I did all that and it still is not working. So next what I did was install knoppix. To see if I did the config right. I don't know how to check the config in knoppix but at the startup I shaw some things. The nv video card driver is correct. Another advatage I have now with knoppis is
