soundlevels in the alsamixer. In TVTIME I've get all my TV-channels but

Hello. I'm planning to buy over eBay a Gallant IV-550 (or IV-560, I'm not
sure) TV tuner card. I was wondering if anyone had tried using this card on
Debian and what was the result.
Also, I was wondering if there is any Linux program similar to More TV for

I am running Debian Unstable and not having much luck getting my Spirit SCP
1000 TV Tuner card running. The card uses a Brooktree BT878 chipset. I
tried following the instructions at http://shokem.hypermart.net/ but no luck.
Has anyone managed to get this card running on Debian?
