we finally got apcupsd shut down our server (by recompiling it with the non-
multithreaded C library,) BUT it doesn't shut down our UPS if the battery
level drops under the specified minimum level.
Any idea how to get this running?!

I need an UPS for my system (say 300 W plus 15" monitor) and I

Go with a Best Power, IMHO. The one sitting on top of my computer is

I just uploaded "genpower" into unstable in December. I've been using
it on my APC Backups-Pro 420 for several months. It works great!
