es mag villeicht blöd klingen aber läuft der VNC-Dienst auf der NT
Maschine?? Bei mir läuft die Kombination Debian und W2k-Server bestens,
das einzige Problem das ich habe, sind kleine störende Kästchen über den

I've figured out that when I start the vncserver script, it uses

Problem is that seems to eb a KDE session. Even thoguh I use Gnome. How can

Para conectarte con un VNC Viewer la sintaxis es
direccion_ip:display
Siempre te conviene fijarte, cuando lanzás el VNC Server, en qué display
está escuchando, entonces luego te conectás a ese display.
Si por ejemplo tu VNC server lo iniciaste en una máquina con la IP

Mein Problem gibt es aber leider weiterhin:
Ich starte vncserver aus einem angemeldeten Benutzer.
Per vnc sehe ich nur den grauen X-Hintergrund aber keinen Window-Manager.
Eingestellt und per startx auch funktionierend ist icewm.
Das Verhalten habe ich mit und
mehr
weiter nachgedacht werden muss.

Bei mir ist das Script erheblich umfangreicher und es werden auch diverse
Variablen gesetzt. Kann es womöglich daran liegen?

Bonjour la liste une question simple à la limite du HS:
J'ai un PC sous Debian Woody, sur lequel je démarre un Xvnc.
Sous un win2k, j'ai un vncviewer.
Ca tourne pas mal, mais c'est un peu à la traine lorsque les données
affichées commencent à être trés variés sur le meme écran (type Gimp
etc...)

Je serais tenté de dire non, car en 10 mb/s vnc n'utilise pas toute
la bande passante.
C'est vrai que wmnet montre que vnc ne dépasse rarement les 500 k/sec
mais sait-on jamais, comme tu dis...
Mais ce n'est pas une affirmation, c'est une supposition !

Par contre, j'aurais préféré ne pas passer en 8 bits, parce que
j'utilise quelques applications graphiques et en 8 bits ca donne pas
trop :)

me pide un password para el servidor y su confirmación, pero después me
devuelve el mensaje de error :
~/.vnc: No such file or directory
el directorio en cuestión existe (se crea cuando un usuario arranca vncserver),
y es accesible. tiene permisos 755 (he incluso probado
janela no windows uma sessão X (aí abre
um terminal para a IDE e o mouse já está funcionando...)

Aqui na faculdade utilizar o VNC foi um desastre. Utilizei um outro cara que roda sobre o ssh mas nao deu certo. Ele como rodando no Windows w muito lento.
Utilizei o CyGwin. Apesar dele ser um pouco pesado ele muito bom
so dar um X --query ip da maquina alvo
e o bicho te poe o display

Gostaria de saber se alguém tem experiências com VNC rodando em Windows
2000 para efetuar acesso em um servidor Linux. Temos um um servidor
Linux e um desenvolvedor DATAFLEX aqui na empresa que está precisando
acessar o servidor para ter acesso à IDE do DATAFLEX nativa do
