Indeed that file doesn't exist. Should I create it using /dev/null

And I was automatically kicked out of bash back to the login prompt. I
had been logged in as root.

in general i've no problem connecting to the internet via isdn.
but 3 days ago i've reintalled my debian system and now i can't
establish a connection.
isdnutils is installed
-i've compiled everything that is needed for isdn
-my isdn card is detected correctly
-i run isdnconfig
-i edited
Anyone know what my inetd may be complaining about, and how I might go
about fixing it? The error is this:

I, too, prefer my Num Lock key on. I have tried several times to set it

I'd just like to ask:
How come any of my users with a uid of 1024 (uid=1024),
always experiences quota problems?
Is there anything magical about the number 1024?
(I know that 1 kb = 1024 bytes...)
Or did I just set my system's quota incorrectly?
