Only thing I can think of is that you are trying to mount ntfs partition and you don't have it in your kernel or you dont have the smbfs filesystem loaded in your kernel. But that mount 6 error is odd. If you have X installed try apt-get LinNeighborhood its a nice gui to mount network share

Need help package ownership problem

I am unable to apt-get dist-upgrade because logtail and logcheck are fighting over the same file. The package owner suggested using dpkg-divert --package logtail --add --rename /usr/share/man/man8/logtail.8.gz but as you can see below, it gets removed before it can help. Can anyone suggest
