No button. It's in the Message drop-down menu.
I was able to add the button to the toolbar by customizing it. And there
is that option in the Message menu.

Mon système Lenny est en LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8
Le paramétrage de l'affichage des polices semble impossible.
Certains mails comportent des points d'interrogation, des losanges
noirs, etc

Certains dossiers étaient paramétrés pour ignorer l'autodétection, d'où
anarchie dans l'affichage

I do not need/want this feature, and have been looking for a way

pero no me funciona correctamente, he probado con lightning-0.7 para
linux, he solucionado el problema inicial de la versión, pero una vez
instalado no funciona bien. ¿Alguien lo tiene en uso?

messages that I can find. I can start it back up and it
works fine until I try to send another message.

(debian, but icedove installed a 1.5.x with apt, so i just build
thunderbird from the mozilla repos) to my other debian machine, (just

Je ne comprend pas pourquoi on ne trouve pas dans Icedove la barre
d'outil d'édition (taille police, retrait, alignement, smiley) qui
existe dans Thunderbird.

Si le compte n'est pas configuré pour la rédaction en HTML, l'option
n'apparaît pas dans le menu.

For what it's worth Etch's icedove 1.5.0.14pre (20080208) contains:
network.protocol-handler.app.https default string x-www-browser
It seems to me this has disappeared for lenny's.

Oh, thanks, I will try it on my Ubuntu box. However I was looking for
something like a web svn/cvs respository or something, like something
that one can just wget it from a any generic OS I suppose.

Are the source distributed in a portable form somewhere that can be
