Yesterday i wanted to print a pdf book, but i didn't find any app in
gnome2.8 in wich i can print the odd and even pages. i tried with
gpdf, xpdf and evince.
My printer is configured with cups.
Anyone knows any app to do so?; i don't want to install acrobat reader.

I usually use pdftops (part of the xpdf-utils package) to convert to
PostScript and psselect

But i also want to put a page range. i want to print from page 2 to 50
for instance.
I believe that is not so friendly.
ITOH, if i print using lpr command, will it print all the graphics the
pdf has? and what about the resolution? is there a way to chane the
dpi?

Using xpdf when you tell it to print, it displays a dialog, in a textbox is lpr
remove the r to obtain lp which is the cups command to print and it works

Hi, I have been trying to print to pdf from wine. In my latest attempt I am
using debian 8, 32 bit in a virtual machine. I downloaded the source for wine
and compiled it, and the source for cups pdf. But I always get a message saying

the page-set=odd or even works like expected
the only thing is i'm using lp instead of lpr.

To reduce the amount of printing I must do, I want to print two A4
pages of a pdf document on a single A4 sheet --- or even better, reduce 4
A4 pages down so that it can print on a single sheet.
Is there any software to do this?
