You will most likely get more expert advice than I can offer, but this
might help.

The two ends agree that muso is to be 195.64.69.173. The remote wants to
be 195.64.64.1 but muso declines. No IP number is negotiated and the
connection fails.

Hi,
I've got two computers here, both with an (about) 3 weeks old debian-hamm
distribution, one P90, and one PII-233. On the P90 I can setup a ppp
connection to cistron.nl (posing as provider), but my PII-233 refuses to
do the same.
The thing is when running "dip -v dip-script", the output on bot
