gusta mucho mas que sendmail. No se si permita hacer lo que dices desde
su configuracion, tendrias que leerle.

Estou configurando um micro de um amigo para ser servidor de dados, e
para monitorar o micro a distância estou tentando configurar o
sendmail para enviar os arquivos de log para mim. O micro esta
conectano na internet através de uma conexão Virtua. Infelismente

entao esqueça o sendmail... use o exim que ja vem com o debian. faca um
dpkg-reconfigure-exim e configure ele pra usar um smart-host

Só uma observação, o dpkg-reconfigure nao funciona com o exim.
O comando correto é eximconfig.

Tengo un problema con el servidor de correo sendmail con Debian 3.0 y
kernel 2.4.18. Se establece la conexión pero al comprobar el password del
usuario, tarda más de cinco minutos. Después todo funciona bien. Creo que
es al comprobar el password porque al intentar leer el correo

I did look at it, but there seems to be quite an amount of antagonisim
between the debian sendmail setup with the queue runner and mailscanner?
Any advice on how to rearrange the init scripts would be appreciated.

googleando un poco la gente recomienda
sendmail, otros postfix, otros qmail... y la verdad, q puestos a configurar
uno me da igual intentarlo con uno q con otro.
¿Cuál es vuestra recomendación?
