I'm running Window Maker on three different workstations, and all the Menu structures are different. Admittedly, the only thing that I am in a position to address right now is this: On one machine I decided to strick out on my own for managing my menu. Well, I don't like that idea anymore.

to the documentation, the ~/GNUstep/Defaults/WMRootMenu file should point to the menu file, so you can edit it with a text editor. But the only thing that appears in this file is a line containing menu hook. Actually, menu.hook. Where resides the wmaker menu file? Thus sayeth man wmaker

Hi everyone, I just wonder if there is a way to use menu in wmaker ; as if I start the wmaker preference ; click the menu options, it says the current syntax is not supported and ask if I overwrite and use new one, Or keep the current one, What should I do? I just keep the current one. Is it ok

I've installed several non-debian packages (some RPMs and what not). How do I safely update my Window Maker menus? If I hand-jam the changes, will the results be wiped out the next time I install a .deb? orwill the changes cause a .deb install (specifically the menu update part) to screw
