Yo lo que tenía es Windows en vmware, pero supongo que será parecido.
Tienes que instalar vmware-tools. Te hablo de memoria. En mi caso se
instalan desde uno de los menús una vez arrancado el sistema. No
recuerdo cual, lo siento.

Estoy configurando X-Window (sobre Woody) en una máquina de la
oficina. En aquella la tarjeta gráfica es una Intel 810 integrada en placa
base. He usado como herramienta de configuración el script xf86config y,
si no me equivoco, creo que he configurado correctamente el
que no haga falta llegar tan lejos y vaste con un

After upgrading X-Window to version 4.2 the keys \ | @ # ~ ¬ ceased to

Firstly I must confess, I have not spent much time trying to sort this one
out. However, I have the latest stable Debian installed in my machine running
KDE desktop. However I find that I am unable to cause other machines on the
network to open an X window on my machine

levanta kde, como hago para elegir lo que quiero que me levante, ya sea gnome o
XFce?

Instala algún gestor del entorno gráfico:
kdm
gmd
xdm
Cualquiera de esos te sirve, aunque si ya tienes kde mejor instalar kdm, creo
yo, por tener menor número de dependencias.
