Hi,
In Jessie running the Nvidia driver and Virtualbox 4.2.12 I occasionally

Is this reportable as a bug? And what package should it be reported to?
The segfault always occurs as I switch screens with alt+ctl+Fx.

Hi all,
How can I tell which driver is being used by x.org at run-time?
You can find this information in the xorg log file, for example with
this command:
grep /drivers/ /var/log/Xorg.0.log

starting from GRUB I was informed x.org did not install correctly. All I

What am I supposed to do? Help

Hi, Wei. I think I'm definitely not going to upgrade to Sid anytime soon so
I'll stick to Lenny for the moment.
Thanks!
Finally I ended up upgrading to Lenny and with the new version of X.Org I
have no problem.
Nevertheless, I've been reading the Debian FAQ and It says that Unstable is
recommended over Testing (Lenny) for a variety of reasons... so I'm now

Hi! I'm currently using Debian Stable ('Etch') and obviously my X.Orgversion is
7.1.1.
Is there any problem with manually upgrading X.Org to 7.2??

You'll have to look at backports.org, I think
I don't find X.Org 7.2 on Backports. Is there any other way of upgrading
X.Org but keeping Debian Stable distro?
I'm so hesitant of upgrading to Lenny, I've heard there are almost no
security updates aside from other disadvantages.

The library versions in Lenny are different, so you're unlikely
to get there by apt-pinning. You may be able to get the 7.2

Thank you for your consideration.
