bugs outstanding (some over a year old) and so I was attempting to report
that the package was apparently orphaned. I do have an updated package which

Just a note that this program might not be necessary - despite
appearances within gpe-conf, gpe-appmgr is not installed by Familiar
0.84, GPE 2.7 with no ill effects apparent. Will check further but if
it turns out to be as it looks now, I'll simply close this ITP as
unnecessary.

An enable-cia script is a fine idea. This would also get around
dependency issues -- just have the scripts off in /usr/share somewhere,
and only if the revision control system is present and has a repository
are they enabled, so there's no need to depend on any RCS.

Note that for svn, svnmailer can handle communication with cia, although
it's limited to the XML-RPC interface, and not email.
