When trying to remap the mouse buttons with xmodmap, xinput or the gnome
mouse panel (left-handed setting), the mouse events get mixed up.
I used the following commands, all showing the same behaviour:
$ xmodmap -e

just installed debian on a AJP M6000NE laptop, which appears to be
very similar to the ASUS M6N series, but it has a larger wide screen.
when configuring XFree86 with debconf, the screen size of the laptop
(1680x1050) isn't present in the list.

On my system with onboard i865, I see regular crahses when the screen
blanks while I am logged in. The xserver log file contains the

error message afterwards. The symptoms seem to be the same as in

When I visit www.laga.nl with konqueror, the cpu load of XFree86 goes up
to about 95%. My system gets 'unworkable' and I have to close Konqueror

we're ready for a -9 release.
Please note that I was unable to build- or run-test the patch to the
neomagic driver (r2048), because that driver is not built on PowerPC.
