Hello:
I also came across this issue but somehow I ended up with this configuration
that works (so far):
xserver-xorg-core 2:1.6.1.901-3
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.7.99.901-3 (from bgoglin api breakage rebuild)
Self build Linux 2.6.30 using KMS

3) should also be a consequence of a change of defaults. I don't really care
about that much, but I suppose tweaking MinSpeed, MaxSpeed and AccelFactor
should work.

Hello Martin:
The patch you mention is already applied upstream as of June 17th, so
included in my up-to-date local git repo. This means bug is still present in
my experience.
Thanks,

since this is not such an important for etch to take care of it we
could consider it as solved. I'll mark it as closed. Feel free to reopen if
you don't agree.
Thanks for your interest! Long live to the XSF ;)

e NoTrapSignals but even that way the
backtrace I got was useless, as yours. I hadn't the chance to use gdb sshing
from another machine. maybe that could lead you to a correct backtrace.
Trying won't take you much time, but since I suppose you are quite busy
that's up to you.
his bug with
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=417860 as I think they are
the same.
Thanks

Hello:
That backtrace doesn't seem very meaningful, maybe using a core dump
backtrace would be better. Try to enable core dump and then get the backtrace
from there. http://wiki.debian.org/XStrikeForce/XserverDebugging has some
tips.
Thanks

IMHO I would close these bugs. I wouldn't like to forget thanking you for
doing the great yet hard work to review old bugs.

Hello,
I'm concerned about this bug since I also suffer it. Reviewing bug
information I've seen that https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5774
corresponds to the bug upstream as I see it.
I hope this gets solved upstream.
Thank you.
