do. My searches have not yielded any results. I emailed the submitter of the
earliest patch with this poke (the linux kernel framebuffer). He has not
responded.

DVD playback on my Debian laptop (using the neomagic chipset) has produced
quite choppy results. When playing DVD's, the CPU utilization was at 100%. I
