After some tests, here is what seems to come out (and gives me a workaround) : * Having only the French (alternative) as selected layout in gnome does not work : only the keyboard set in /etc/default/keyboard is given (at least I think so) * Having French (alternative) and another one like Russ

In fact, it seems impossible to switch between layouts in gnome (classical version in testing). The only way I found to have the main layout I use is to do (as root) : dkpg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration and then restart computer. But I can use only one layout this way. None of the layout
