When 3.12a came out, we had the same problem when we upgraded from 3.11b. I unded up uninstalling the whole program and reinstalling from scratch. The missing f-prot.exe file mysteriously showed up. And it was the same download file!!! Give this a try, as it may work. Sheldon Sheldon Koehler,
