Oh, I forgot to mention the the script icon. In my modified icon it has
two shadows instead of one, which gives it a 3d effect and a more
'standup' realistic look. This should be done to all the icons that use

In Keyboard Shortcuts, the keys are Ctrl+PrintScreen and Ctrl+Alt+PrintScreen.
If I try to change these to Print and Alt-Print, I get this error:

I think the problem was caused by an older version of Tango I found in
/usr/share/icons that conflicted with this tango-icon-theme package.
After deleting both tango installations and reinstalling tango-icon-
theme I no longer had the problem. I had installed Tango 0.6.3 before
ubuntulooks was rele

The torrent download is now finished and just seeding one file. Perhaps

What you describe looks an another issue. Renaming works, as you said it
uses Name= which is good enough because the .desktop doesn't ship any
translation for your custom name and you want to get the name you type

For what it's worth, there now appears to be a decent icon (in the Human theme,
I believe).
However, /usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/nm-device-wired.png is still the
same, if that matters.

version 6.0 pre-alpha and got the same result as Dapper

Hmm. Ok you are correct, user error :P
Maybe the logout appearance should be less dramatic. It really doesn't look
like it's supposed to behave that way.

I made a patch against gnome-cups-manager-0.31 that adds support for serial
printers. Without this patch, it was impossible to configure a serial
connection for a printer.
I added logic to detect when a serial://-uri is selected and to provide

Yes it does, although when I resume from suspend-to-RAM the session dialog is
still showing and the screen isn't locked.
Although it isn't critical it's a bit annoying having to dismiss the session
dialog.

And this is still going to be confusing to a user coming from OSX or win32
where the behavior is immediate deletion for (most) external devices.
I think USB HD is an exception, although I don't know what fields they classify
on.

upstream, which is marked as a duplicate of a bug fixed with
gst-plugins-good0.10 CVS code. The package will likely we updated before
dapper, let we know if the upgrade fix the issue

Explaining it a little better.
If you send an icon to desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting "Add this
launcher to desktop" and renaming, by clicking once on it and typing F2, the
.desktop will change the line "Name=", thus it will work. It will ignore
completely the line "Name[yourlocal

I don't know what your plans with switch-user and lock are, but those two icons
are images now while the others are abstract symbols. This already was so
previously, only now the logout icon is a symbol, too. Maybe this arrowmania
could be amplified with the following new icons:
