I'm unable to get evince to print PDFs on a network-printer (IPP) on
edgy. Printing itself works just fine, but I have to use acroread since
the print-button in evince is grey and deactivated. It worked on dapper.

Yes, I had noticed that. Funny thing is, I'm not running (or have
installed) nvidia-glx, so that's purely redundant. I'm using the nv
driver because of the security vuln that appeared some days ago and
because frankly I've got no use for the 3d driver yet. Still, it'd be a
pretty big thing to miss.

Odd thing I noticed.
In Edgy's default theme, take any window and manually maximize it (drag
the sides so it takes up the entire screen) - the edges of the screen
are rounded, as they should be. Now double click the title bar - the

gnome-cups-manager gives "No printer detected" when I double-click "New

No, I'm quite certain that it's server-side. vino uses libvncserver and
the default name for libvncserver-based servers is LibVNCServer. It
should not be difficult to make it display something more informative

After installing preload hibernation has become impossible on my laptop with
edgy, I get an error about "hal not hibernating". After removing preload all is
well again.
I am using compiz, which did not hibernate in dapper but now works well with

I have similar behaviour with Evolution (Dapper) talking to my Debian
server using uw-imapd. In my case plaintext passwords are disabled on
the server outside of TLS, and after attempting a STARTTLS command
evolution backs off to CRAM-MD5 without encryption.

broken fonts? Does F7 get rid of the cursor? Are the fonts broken in
firefox or epiphany-browser too?
