Well it doesn't work here. On both my desktop pc as my laptop i get a
bug buddy report when running the sync with Evolution. In the attached
file are both logs. My Palm Zire 21 doesn't crash though, it just loses
connection after a while.

It looks like this crash is from Gaim 2.0.0 beta 3.1? The AIM and ICQ
file transfer stuff should work much better in Gaim 2.0.0 beta 4 and
newer. In any case, the code is sufficiently different that this

I found out the sync process only crashes when syncing the Evolution
Calendar. The other coduits are synced properly.

I only backup my files (calendar, etc) with gnome-pilot and let Gnome display
the appointments in the calendar. I don't use Evolution for anything at all
(although I have to let it run ones to include the info in the gnome calendar).
That looks like the reason I don't see you crash.

I set my sync options to "copy from PDA", and got a crash while syncing
the calendar conduit. I did not have trouble with a "copy from PDA" in
the address or memo conduits.
I tried downgrading to the Edgy package and produced the same crashes.
So it seems to be a bug in the evolution calendar bac
I got the same behaviour on my Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Dapper Drake) machine
using Nautilus 2.14.3. Unfortunately, bug-buddy also quits with the "has
quit unexpectedly" error massage!

We stopped installing xchat-gnome by default before dapper, they are
different program, if an user choice to install xchat-gnome instead of
xchat he might have to update some configure option. That's not really a

There are two problems here.
When calendar doesn't crash, but just doesn't appear to sync, you've probably
got a case of:

When the caledar crashes, that looks to me like something different. It
is possible that it is a regression introduced with

This happened when I used Edgy and now, on Feisty. This happens with
Evolution as well. Right now I don't have any -dbg packages, but I'll
submit a crash report after installing them.

I'm not surprised, it's working for me too but 1.7.2 is not the versions in
dapper or edgy. The gnumeric version in dapper or in edgy are not good and it's
a problem with the package because when I compiled them myself with the archive
from gnumeric website, eveyrthing is working (version 1.7.0
