I had the same problem as D S on Ubuntu Gutsy 64 bit. What I did is I
completely removed Rhythmbox, manually removed rhythmbox folder in my home
folder, then installed it with recommended package python-louie (which wasn't

Ok, I also got booting on Gutsy with CONCURRENCY=shell to work using

Is not a Nautilus problem.
To search the problem, i go to a complete re-install of my Ubuntu 7.10.
Now, i check all.
The ntfs-3g installed in my computer is version 1:1.913-2ubuntu1.
My computer have only a hard disk:
sda1 is a Windows XP C: drive, filesystem NTFS
sda2 is a Windows D: drive, files
I think this is the correct way to fix this issue. I've tested in my
machine and works fine.

Like I wrote in the upstream report, loading gnome 2.20 in Arch Linux
takes 20-21 seconds.
It seems that the startup daemons / stuff is more or less the same.
People with more time than me and/or interest can dig out the

libpam_keyring used to to include an executable called pam-keyring-tool, which
can be used to open the keyring. Starting with Gutsy, pam-keyring-tool is no

To repro:
1. Run the Ubuntu 7.10 Live CD, or install Ubuntu from scratch.
2. Look in the Applications -> Sound & Video menu for something to play music
with.
(That "Totem Movie Player" is apparently also capable of playing audio is
hardly obvious.)

Thanks for your report, it works fine here with Gutsy Gibbon, test case:
open rhythmbox -> Radio -> Add new Radio. it reproduce the radio for me
here, not confirming, can we get the output of: rhythmbox --debug

Now after 2 hours it doesnt work anymore. If I put "xdg-screensaver
activate" on command line again then it starts working for couple times.
I haven't logged out from the session for couple days.

I have a similar bug in Gutsy - Epiphany does not honour the Gconf
/system/http_proxy/ settings. I have tried setting them via gnome-
network-preferences and also via /etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory schema.

Well this is weird. After I put "xdg-screensaver activate" on the
commandline the screensaver started acting normally. I stays on now.
Don't know what the problem was and does this fix hold longer.

I think that there should be an option to not have them hide when
clicking on the desktop. I have never liked this behavior. I'm using
Gutsy and they do hide when clicking on the desktop. Someone on the
Ubuntu forums said enabling desktop effects reverts it back to its
hiding on desktop click, you
