I can confirm that this appears to be fixed in Hardy Heron Alpha 4
(tested both with live CD and installed on hard disk). The launcher on

XMMS. It has a gapless plugin I believe. Also, Amarok supports gapless
playback, and IMO beats any other linux player in just about ever

Lately wnck has been added some tooltips, I understand they try to be
useful, however I see some problems there:
1) Report a one time information. Once the user gets to know the shortcuts the
tooltip stops being useful.

I found a solution to my problem, it is actually a compiz error. I had
to set the number of virtual desktops to 1, not 4. I still have 4
horizontal workspaces and 1 vertical workspace. this seems kind of
counter-intuitive, but it works.
Here is a workaround (also used by Mozilla) while waiting for cairo or
X.org devs to fix it properly.

What I meant to say was; nautilus hangs so I have to force close it.
Therefore apport doesn't generate a crash report, since it technically
is no "crash".

Reproduced this bug in Hardy. Fonts were consistent after I changed the
font size, originally. However, once I restarted the system, it was back
to the old ways; some items were following my new size 8 font, while
others were still using size 10.
