Ah so I just followed a chain of bugs to get myself a pretty good
workaround.
This bug seems only to happen for AAC encoding. Switch over to MP3.

Confirmed -- this was a problem in Ubuntu 7.10 and still is a problem in
8.04.
When Flurry hangs, the machine becomes unusable. If you then ssh into
the machine you will find TWO flurry processes spinning at 100% CPU.
Killing them both makes the machine usable again (able to unlock the
screen).

That's exactly how I changed the window manager. And I just checked
again my settings with gconf-editor and it showed for both of them
(current and default) the path to xfwm4.
I changed window manager on feisty and had no problems what so ever. I
upgraded then to gutsy when it was still
I'm starting to believe we're looking at four different issues here
a) gvfsdtrash looking into every mountpoint for .Trash directories. This
should not be, as such, a problem.
b) gvfsdtrash's accumulating endlessly and keeping automounted NFS busy.

After connecting a new window pops up and it does appear to initially connect
me to /home/. However, when the new icon appears on the Gnome desktop,
clicking it takes me to the root of that serv
well, i would, but i havent programmed in a while, and although i do
plan to get back into it for the porpose of helping with ubuntu, im not
a programmer as of now, so, in the meantime, ill just report bugs.
hopefully, i will be programming soon.

- in the dialog, accept the offered filename and destination(which is
"Desktop")

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy fully updated on my Thinkpad R61. When I'm
listening a music with Rhythmbox and I connect any media device, like
iPod or MP3 Player, he stops to play and I need to restart the music.

Hi, I would just like to CONFIRM this bug.
In addition I can add the experience that downgrading gnome-terminal to
the latest gutsy version does indeed seem to FIX the issue. I guess this
indicates it is not a WM problem.
ALSO I experienced that the terminals changed size and position when the
vi
