Binary package hint: gnome-desktop-environment
This is very nit picky but gnome-desktop-environment has an unmet
dependency if you try to install it on Ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron.
Run the command sudo apt-get install gnome-desktop-environment and you
get this message:

Then went back and forth to the Gnome Sound Recorder to check my microphone.

Thanks for your comments. I am looking for the return of the
WebDav(HTTPS) option in the dropdown menu that is found in the image
above. It was there in Gusty and worked properly for me.
I tried to play around with the Custom Location service type and now I
know there is something wrong.
Can confirm the fix works on Hardy with an nVidia GE Force Go 7400.
The bug I was seeing was the white screen while using fast user
switching.
Thank you very much!!!

This looks like it may be an nvidia driver problem. I repeatedly caused
the system to hang by dragging files which resulted in a number of
messages from the nvidia driver showing up in dmesg (complete dmesg
attached).
The system was a default Gutsy install on a Thinkpad T61, no additional

Go to Places - File Search. Search for *.cs. The search box doesn't let
you open the file with a double click. It says the file type is not
associated with any program. Anyway, this works perfectly from nautilus
and nautilus search.
Ubuntu Hardy updated
I can confirm this, the behaviour is specific to gnome-search-tool (so
assigning the gnome-utils package).

Well, I don't know if this a bug or not, but I think it's an incorrect
