I'm attempting to connect to a DAAP server on another LAN, using the
"Connect to DAAP Share.." command in the "Music" menu. After typing in
the hostname, and waiting a minute or so, it comes back with an error
"Could not connect to shared music:
Same error when trying to run vnc2swf-edit to convert an swf to mpg. I
got around it by killall pulseaudio, but vnc2swf-edit doesn't work
regardless (yet another program that doesn't run right).
For an LTS release, the Ubuntu devs sure do have their work cut out for

of space, but file-roller is apparently copying the entire thing to a
hidden file in my home directory first?? This prevents it from
unarchiving. Why would it copy to the home directory in the first

Binary package hint: nautilus
Hi,
since Hardy 8.04 LTS Nautilus shows static mounted partition in the tree view
and also in places which are not mounted in /media. There is no change set in
gconf-editor.
Expected is hidden, like it was in Gutsy 7.10.
e.g. from fstab
# /dev

I don't know what you're asking. If you asking if I've installed some
sort of add-on to view my disk space, then no. I have not.

I can confirm this for a logitech codless optical trackman , except i only have
14% battery on mine.
This battery level has been the same for at least a few versions of ubuntu. I
am currently running hardy heron, on a IBM thinkpad X31.
There is an unfortunate downside to this minor issue: Since
I am experiencing this in hardy. I had an email that did not send.
after that, nothing would send. is there a setting, flag, or file that
I can modify or delete to clear this? Thanks in advance for you advise.

Yes, just tested with Hardy LiveCD; the Nautilus icon is still blurred,
like on the screenshot from Gutsy.

I suppose this is a request for a feature. I /could/ do the command
line, but what I love about Ubuntu is that for the most part, I don't
have to. It's not a decent enough work around to satisfy this
(admittedly picky) user.
How does one go about making this a blueprint request?
