Since I upgraded to Hardy, on the first login attempt, it looks like GDM
is simply crashing and resets to the login window. I don't see any
error messages though. I see a few messages like I usually do when I

If I set brightness to the dimmest setting using the brightness app (I
put a button for this on my panel and use that), then this will be reset
to full brightness whenever I close the laptop lid or log out. In the

it seems that the pdf file is broken, I've tried to open with evince,
xpdf and adobe acroread the latest one said that the pdf file is broken,
that's probably why you cannot open it. thanks.

Hi Sebastien; not sure what this means, to be uploaded as a hardy update
candidate... I haven't seen anything come through in my -proposed
repository. Or is this a prelude to that? I guess someone will update
the bug if/when the fix migrates into the repositories?
