I can confirm the same behaviour Steven Willis is having. I am also
using the Exchange Plugin and Junk E-Mails, as soon as they are marked

yes, the print queue is part of the system. sending the document for
printing in the queue is not instantaneous, it takes some processing. if
you close the application before this processing happens, then it won't
be queued, simple as that...

I decided to try to run some tests, to better understand the situation in which
the bug would occur, and I just discovered that right now (I'm logged via
remote desktop) the keypad keys seem to work as intended only when Num Lock is
turned off, i.e. acting as the arrow keys (plus page up/down et

All this leads me to conclude that the problem is not with evince, but
with the PS driver for your printer (HP LaserJet4). The fact that the
problem only shows itself when printing some specific pdf files shows
that only those files tried to use the broken features of the PS driver.

thanks for the report , not confirming, it works fine here, if i click
on next during playing a playlist it just go to the next song not to a
random one, could you get a rhythmbox log running: rhythmbox --debug &>
rhythmbox-debug.txt perform the operation and attach the file to the

This is a very simple thing to fix. Why hasn't it been fixed yet? It
just needs:
1. A launcher script for parsing .URL files
2. A MIME type for .URL files
3. A binding between the MIME type and the launcher script
All of these have already been done, they just need to be included in
Ubuntu.

I've tried Acroread (Adobe), XPDF and PDFedit. All three work fine
(well, PDFedit I can export a PNG that looks fine).
Here is a scan of what I see (top is the Acroread print, bottom is
Evince). I should add that I'm using Evince through the Ubuntu Document
Viewer 2.24.1, which claims to use

Following the steps I described above I always get the same result.
Evince doesn't react to they keys, but it does stop Rhythmbox/Banshee
from registering them aswell.

That page does not explain how to run a Gnome applet under Valgrind.
When I start it on the command line using the same arguments as show up
in the ps output, it just prints out an IOR and does nothing else. I am
at a loss of how I could proceed with this without further instruction.
