The /etc/deluser.conf file had been edited: REMOVE_HOME=1
I checked the operation of user-admin 'Delete' with both values of

Considering recent bug fix in Epiphany 2.27.92, it looks like that bug could be
related to applications themselves.
Therefore i add Nautilus and Eye of GNOME to that report since both have a menu
entry for size resetting that points out to "ctrl+0" shorcut.

one small note, you can list (lp: #onebug, #otherbug, ...) no need to
add (lp: ) for each bug, it's also nicer to have a short description for
each issue fix "don't use duplicate ui ids (lp #...) etc

This problem appears to be caused by /dev/shm having the wrong
permissions (which is also causing me a number of other problems).
Running
$ sudo chmod 1777 /dev/shm
and logging out and back in fixes the problem (until the next reboot).
I am not sure why /dev/shm has the wrong permissions -
/etc/
spbrereton, if what you experience is in fact bug #327963, then I
believe that you should set the MODEL to something mac (e.g.
"macintosh_vndr/ch") and the LAYOUT to a variant not mentioning mac
(e.g. "de", not "de_mac").
The reason is that the layout files for mac models simply don't mention

I'm not sure if it is related, but I have noticed that certain apps that
pass keypresses (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) to a sub program like virt-manager are
still broken even if the keymap is right inside KDE. This works on the
console just fine, just not within FreeNX.

Regression: Connecting to FreeNX
Sounds like a hardware issue, I've never had that. On all other
operating systems tap-to-click is default and I believe it should be
in Ubuntu also. (Besides, do touchpads even report if they have a
button or not at hardware level?)

When not having a button the tap on click should be actived
automatically, for users having a button that can be discussed but
better to use mailing than a bug report about that. Not sure how other
user manage to work with that option one but I keep clicking while
scrolling when it's on there
