gthumb offers a very good suite of basic editing tools - resize, crop,
rotate, simple colour/contrast tweaking, a few other things.
At a minimum, f-spot's view mode should offer roughly the same options
as gthumb currently has before GIMP is removed from the default Ubuntu

I set up my Evolution using my windows live.com e-mail and got the error
message pop up that says can't send mail pipe broken, maybe I should
have use the gmail account instead. Now my question is how do I revert
to restore default in order to change my email account to combine it
with gmail inste

Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic - Clean Install
Aspect Ratio is not functioning. Movies are all basically square. Trying to
change the aspect ratio in the veiw tab has no effect.
Gnome-Mplayer works fine. It is the only software that is functioning
correctly.

Furthermore, I even saw this behavior once when downloading a file to my
desktop from the Internet. Once the file had finished downloading, it
never appeared on the desktop until the desktop was manually refreshed.
This never happened in earlier versions of Ubuntu.
