/media/fuze` and use the device fine, but it won't show up in media

The new "light theme" hangs for 20 seconds before desktop loads. The music has
well and truly stopped and the "light theme", just hangs there doing nothing.

The shell commands
grep filename ~/.gnome2/backgrounds.xml | sed -e 's///g' | sed
-e 's/<\/filename>//g' | less
will show all the paths and filenames of the list of background images.
This will be of use if no change is made in Karmic to fix this problem.
I attached a script with these commands
yeah.. a similar kind of problem here too.. Suppose a pawn from f2 moves
to f4, the opponent pawn from e4 manages to capture it and move to f3.

If I understand correctly notify-osd is issuing the fallback. If
notify-osd's fallback mechanism presents a usability hurdle, then there's a
bug to be fixed in notify-osd, albeit a low priority one.
