The bug is that the Monitors Applet doesn't keep any settings.
If I choose to turn off a monitor in the applet and then lock the screen, this

Hello Sebastien, I had this issue after two non-contiguous package updates.
I was able to solve it both times by running in recovery mode, and performing
the restore packages action. In both cases I had to wait till the day after
original update (i guess due to the availability of new updates
Accepted librsvg into lucid-proposed, the package will build now and be
available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See

computer hangs on booting
reaction to this change has been almost universally negative. Please
give the button back, or teach nautilus to save the toggle state as it
was previously set, on subsequent window openings.
as has been said over and over, Ctrl + L is not an acceptable answer. it
is not a toggle, it is either
Here is how to reproduce it: I logon normally with Turkish F layout,
gnome console works OK. Then I switch to Turkish F and console behaves
as I am using Q layout when it comes to ctrl key. Rest of the keys are
OK.

Lucid Beta 2 or RC have this same problem. And some how when you are
invisible and you don't want to talk to anyone the status became
busy. This is bring me some social problems :)

I made a mistake. Last sentence should read Then I switch to Turkish Q

I've managed to fix this with the following:
cd .local/share/applications/
mv compiz.desktop{,.old}
After logging out and back in again, window titles are still not there
but compiz *is* shown as running.
Switching Visual Effects in System - Preferences - Appearance to
None and back to Extra
