only case I can report is my own. Normally I use * but for some reason I
tried 'x', brain freeze it would seem. With your explanation in mind and in
noting the behaviour of other calculators like Windows Calculator

I have just accomplished the migration from Lucid to Meerkat in Evolution as
well.
The problem was that I did not have enoguh disk space, when I created the backup
from evo, it did not warn me, so I thought everything was all right...

files, as the jpeg versions of the files imported at the same time seem
to have been imported correctly, from a dump of the photos.db:

This bug affects me. The two settings that come up as being incorrect
fro me are 'Offline Contacts' and 'Show Protocols'. This has only
happened since I upgraded to maverick 3 days ago, and I first noticed it
two days ago.
