the vertical view). I don't know what the expected behaviour is, but

I also try to use tvtime and cannot get any sound with my Pinnacle PCTV
310i . I have specially searched for bought this rather old card because
the number of web references that it works under Linux.
I get channels, get video but have no sound and this card has no
separate audio output to connect
Please, someone take a look at this.
I once more describe how to trigger this one:
1. Connect USB speakers (pretty cheap these days)
2. use gnome-volume-control to change output to USB speakers
3. see how your laptops volume buttons work good with these
4. disconnect USB speakers, volume comes fro

I think a solution to this would be to set a flag to a particular state
when shutdown commences, which will then hold up all operations that
attempt to execute, including suspend. On some versions of Windows, I've
been presented with an error message when I try to do something when the
shutdown but

Debian because p7zip-full was added as Depends. But in Ubuntu the depends was

can't really remember if my computer originally had it or it started
acting like that after a while, whenever i need to right click any item

I was sure I had seen someone explaining the problem as arising from
xarchiver, but I seem to have been mistaken. I now understand (I'm new
to this bugs.launchpad) that this bug had been assigned to multiple
applications (file-roller and xarchiver). In that sense, xarchiver is
possibly blameless
http://mto.org/webcast/ appears to be the main page to load the webcast
from, the live stream is encrypted with DRM and requires windows only
software.
If anyone can shed any more light on this I am interested.

@cando The errors you posted do not resemble this bug. It sounds like
your problem is with the maverick Xnest _clients_, whereas this bug is
specifically about the maverick gdm _servers_. Please open a separate
bug for your issue.

Sorry, I forgot to include in my comment #25:
On subsequent boots, I still get status 256. It's only on the FIRST
boot after booting from the memory stick, that it doesn't appear.
