4) Color Tab --> Pick any color using eyedropper

Just to cover my bases, I tried going into Synaptic and reinstalling
every single package with “gtk” in the name, and/or “gdk” in the name or
description. To my surprise, it worked; I no longer got this bug in GIMP
or Inkscape.
That was a week or two ago. By now, the bug has recurred, with the sam
Nevermind. I rebooted my computer again and now it seems to be working
properly. This can be removed.

Evolution fails to start with "Inconsistency detect
Deleting folders.db did the job, Evolution rebuild it, taken some time
when started and also when closing, but now works pretty well. Guess
that folders.db got corrupted at some point when I turned off my
computer suddenly.

1. security compromise: a process is running in a terminal, which can get
closed by a mis-click. This is now open to being spoofed by someone while

I feel that this bug is directly linked to a range of Compiz/Unity
issues due to Nouveau. For me, the click on the Ubuntu icon, (top panel
left-hand side), gives a window with a black outline and no menus or
close 'x' button. This seems to be the above bug issue.

The are a variety of reasons why gnome-screensaver is not unlocking, and I
suspect you each have a different reason.
