Thanks for giving this bug some attention. Yes, this bug is still
present in 11.04, and super annoying. I can at least tip my notebook on
its side, but that's a bit more challenging for large desktop flat

appears on the top status bar (by the clock).

I also have to mention that Nautilus respects the settings for video
files - they are whole loaded into system memory by gvfsd-gphoto2
(uselessly) after what the memory is freed up with

I set up a menu item with:
/usr/games/sol -v canfield
and it starts Demon, not Canfield.

this is especially frustrating because F2 doesn't seem to work on bootup, and I
can't get into the system at all. The boot menu never appears.
What happened to the idea of having the boot menu appear automatically in alpha
and beta versions, so we testers could always get in to recovery options?
I have installed 11.04 a few weeks ago and I have all fresh updates. The
function gnome.user_get_dir() still returns None as a result (I tried
same sample code as in my original post).

Natty is *much* worse for dual screens. Putting screens above each other
doesn't work at all for me (one of the screens gets garbled). Putting
them next to each other puts the Unity bar in the wrong place in both
cases, one slightly worse positioned than the other. Because of this it
is hard to see

I have tried that with Ubuntu 11.04 (gvfsd-gphoto2 is no longer in the
repository nor installed?) and the problem persists.
It turned out that not only previews of image/video files stored in my camera
kept loading although size of those files is more than the limit sele
