I have attempted to replicate the fault but Document Viewer now seems to
be performing normally.
I thought that the hold-up might have been due to attempting to render a
colour picture to print at best quality but this seems now to be done
instantly.
There have been a few software upgrades
Definitely not solved in Wily (15.10).
Its an irritating problem. Also with the Stylishdark theme the button
state is still hardly visible.

This problem is certainly not solved in Wily (15.10). With the
Stylishdark theme the button status is still hardly visible. The
Highcontrast theme solves the button status problem but introduces
another: on the window in focus, of the window buttons only the Close
button is visible. And this
So enforcing LC_MESSAGES=C or en_US.UTF-8 as a global override will
ignore this issue completely.

The reason for bug #1537064 is me nagging Yaron. The problem of BiDi
cannot be solved in a terminal vt100 environment. The reason - is that
the application does not telling the VTE the boundaries of the
paragraph.
Imagine "mc" opeenning a dialog to rename a file. Lets check the
