The problem occurs both using an external monitor (Acer AL1715) attached to my
laptop and using only the laptop monitor.
When I try to change resolution from 1366x768 to 800x600 or 1024x768, the
screen goes black, after about 20 seconds the screen goes back to the original
1366x768 resolution.
As asked on #5 I tried to use this command:
xrandr --output LVDS1 --mode 1024x768
and this one
xrandr --output LVDS1 --mode 800x600
But when I launch these commands from a terminal, the screen goes black,
I tried to wait for about 2 miniutes, but seeing nothing happen, I typed
in CTRL+ALT+F1 and
Other thing, after this happens, there are no more icons on my desktop,
it's cleared and have only the background image.

Public bug reported:
When clicking on the home icon on unity 2D launcher, nautilus does not open,
the icon just blinks a bit, but nothing happens.
If I type nautilus in terminal I get this output:
charlie@charlie02:~$ nautilus
Initializing nautilus-gdu extension
Initializing nautilus-dropbox
I managed to put on unity (not unity 2D) and this still happens.
So the problem occurs both with unity 2D and unity.
