Same problem as perezxolote I am afraid. This seems to be a problem
with migration from Maverick to Natty. I am using Evolution.

I had this problem on Unity desktop, but since then I have re-installed
Ubuntu Natty from a setup disk. Before I had a weather indicator which
showed an icon on the notification area. If I then started Skype I got the
problem of a 1 pixel icon. However now I have no other indicators installed
Yup there seems to be a lot of buck passing going on with these tickets and
no one is grabbing the beast by the horns (sorry about the cliches).
