GNOME Flashback session.
William has filed a MP against gnome-settings-daemon (lp:~attente/gnome-
settings-daemon/non-latin-media-keys), that touches the same file (gsd-
media-keys-manager.c), your changes don't conflict so I
@Filippos: layout switching not working is a different issue, tracked in
bug 1218322. I hope William will look at it soon.

Adding system-config-printer-gnome is not a proper solution because:
- System-config-printer-gnome pulls in a lot of deprecated (and unmaintained)
libraries like pygtk or python-gnomekeyring;
- Having it installed will just hide the crash, not fix it.

I don't have a 12.04 machine to build/test the fix on, maybe someone
else can do that.
Or you can apply the patch yourself and submit a merge proposal against
lp:ubuntu/precise/gnome-keyring, so that it'll show up in the

Yes, please do. A patch against the latest gnome-power-manager git
should work. (Forwarding patches upstream lets us save hours of
maintenance work).

I can confirm this bug with Metacity on 12.10. On the second launch the
window is in full size, but not maximized.
