others the popup-menus.ui file[2] to the source, but it does not add it
to the list of translatable files in POTFILES.in. This causes about 20
user visible strings to be not translatable.

This made the missing translations reappear.
For some reason newer pot files both in

Maybe intltool regressed, maybe the new xgettext doesn't do its job?

Indeed, gconf-editor was moved to Universe, but was not rebuilt since. It needs
a no change upload to fix this.
