Sorry (or not) to say, but I cannot reproduce the error anymore. I've done some cleanup with my panels (removed the Top one). The only applets I got rid of were "Menu Bar" (I use "Main Menu" instead - because it fits better) and "Indicator Session Applet" (when removed "Main Menu" gains additional

I'm almost sure the bug is caused by - let's call it - NetworkManager icon inside Notification Area applet! When you get your icons distorted right-click on the affected panel click "Properties". In "Panel Properties" change panel orientation to "Left" or "Right" and back to "Top" or "Bottom". In
