In Jaunty when I unmounted a usb drive through Gnome, a dialog popped up
asking me if I would like to empty the trash of this device.
In Karmic, I don't see this dialog anymore, and as a result I ended up

In Karmic there is no easy way to disable the drums on gdm startup
I think there is a problem with how nautilus handles those gvfs
bookmarks :
1) Open a gedit window, and navigate through remote ftps with the
sidepanel : you can open and save all files as if they were on a local

I am experiencing this bug. It is a critical one to me too, because it
can lead to the loss of many e-mails, and I have actually lost some
before noticing there were still available when checking show deleted
messages.
I tell you how I can reproduce it on my machine :

Hi, I have never noticed any problem with rhythmbox, but since I
installed Hardy banshee has ignored the play/pause, next, previous
multimedia keys. This prevents me from using banshee, which is a shame
because it seems to have maturated a lot since the last time I tried it.

For me, the new hal didn't fix the problem. Right now, both g-p-m and
acpi show that my battery is present but it is not. This is not a
problem of a slow update of the battery state because the state is wrong
since I switched on my computer.
Maybe this is to be discussed on another bug report?
It seems fixed for me with your packages : I tried plugging and
unplugging, putting and removing the battery, the state reported is
correct and the remaining capacity percentage seems correctly updated.
I'm going to do more extensive testing but thank you anyway!

Bad news : with the new hal my external USB drive fails to be mounted
automatically. The error message is in French but it means bad mounting
options. I can see no error in either 'dmesg' or /var/log/daemon.log .
Maybe there is another reason but I'm sure it worked before hal upgrade

I use edgy. I have just checked again and the problem is still around.
All mails moved from the local inbox (one by one) to the imap inbox just
disappeared. However, moving mail from imap to local works just fine.
I think it's not exactly the same problem as #64317.

Since I upgraded from dapper to edgy, totem won't display the dvd menus,
it plays it from beginning to end, without asking me anything. I tried
