Indeed it looks like my issue is slightly different from both this and
bug 1720820, but given we have a workaround I'm happy to wait until
those are fixed and checking if they also fix my problem before raising
yet another minor bug variant - unless there is something specific I can

I have the same problem - at least the same symptoms as the OP when playing MP4
viedos with totem on wayland.
My video card is an ATI HD5850 using the radeon driver.

I tested the proposed Nautilus package on the following:
Dell Inspiron 5521 with an Elan touchscreen.
12.04.2 64-bit
Before the nautilus fix, the double-tapping on folders didn't work.
After apply the nautilus update in proposed, I can now double-tap to
drill down into folders and launch files,

This major bug was first noted nearly a year ago. The effect of the bug
is that anyone working in Ubuntu-gnome doesn't have the use of

I thought that's what the "Allow panel to be moved/Lock the placement of
the panel" options were for. I can't find the changelog but I was able
to figure out the key qualifier. It feels like the feature is a little
more hidden. There's no information about the key qualifier in the

That would fix the ultimate issue I am having. I think it would be nice
to have the option to drag/drop these panels though. The way I set my
system up is with multiple displays and two panels each covering the top

Yes, Thanks for that. My burner turned out to be healthy. I upgraded to
Gutsy when it became available, but Sound Juicer never worked again; it
continued to put up the same error message.

something is corrupted. However, I have since loaded a couple of other
Ubuntu rippers which seem to behave as expected, so the problem is
probably with Sound Juicer. I will log a bug to that effect on the
author's website.

When attempting to open a folder created through "Connect to server..." that
uses SSH, nothing happens if the host key has changed.
When trying to SSH in through the terminal, you at least get a message saying
something's wrong:

As far as I know, SIGTRAP means a point where the program expects a
debugger to step in and help. Obviously, this is not the case, so the
process dies.

How about where XMMS says "Server reported: 403 max listeners reached",
