gnome-terminal will not match the leading 's' character, resulting in an
ftp url, not an sftp one. This makes url grabbing and opening not work

Since the evolution process doesn't actually segfault, I'm not sure at
what point the stacktrace should be taken. By the time the calendar
component tells me it is dead, it's too late already.

Mirroring means, or used to mean and should mean, that the two screens
show the same thing. Before, the laptop screen would show only as much
as would fit into the top left corner of the full resolution. This is
good for me because when I unplug the external monitor, the screen has
useful stuff on

Nope. I'm using a plain Lenovo ThinkPad T500, but I had this problem too
on my old ThinkCentre. As a matter of fact I'm baffled by the fact that
I seem to be the only one in the world (still) experiencing this. I
don't have odd settings, I haven't hacked Ubuntu or installed any weird
applications.
This has been closed a long time I see. I found the bug on Google
because I'm experiencing the exact same thing in Ubuntu Intrepid:

I am using Kubuntu Hardy release candidate on an intel macbook core duo.
Ekiga seems not to find or use the built-in microphone.

I get the same problem when testing the final release candidate of
ubuntu hardy desktop i386 under kvm. The problem goes away if I use the
GNOME sound settings to configure sound playback to use "ALSA" instead
of "Automatic" (which translates to PulseAudio).

This bug should be filled with the packets that are buggy. Ubuntu should
not clutter up the users home directory with symlinks in a foreign
language such as English.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or feature. But you can change this
behaviour in about:config, just modify the value of
browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground.
