Mysterious shadow around window when check marking an option box

just revisiting this bug report to make an update. i still get the white
box where the wifi signal icon should be when i click the arrow in the
top right corner for the menu located there but it's very rare anymore.

When I restart or shutdown, I get a very unusual screen output like a
terminal command had been ran. It's happened for the last few days and I
just installed the beta 1 release yesterday for a fresh install. I'll

them and that seemed to work fine. Opening up a CD in sound-juicer does the
same behaviour I reported in the bug. Do I need to restart or restart some

didn't intend to save my session (and don't know how to given that it is turned
off in sessions and it is no longer appears on the logout dialogue) but accept

I now have two battery applets;

Yes, preview = play. The authors seem to insist that the software is only
to preview tracks and not to function as a Player. Just trying to be
politically correct :). Sorry for the confusion.

The menu entries are indeed Serpentine Audio CD Creator and Sound Juicer CD
Extractor in Dapper Flight 5, fully updated to 28 March. I'm not overly
convinced that this is an issue. For Serpentine it is very important
