I have the same problem, I think.
#16 doesn't work for me, I still get no authentication with GTalk neither with
an OpenFire-based XMPP service I have. With Pidgin, it works perfectly well.
Note the "only" thing that affected the fact that it works or not with Empathy
is that I upgraded from Ubun
Sorry about the delay, I did not event realize someone had answered
(despite the e-mail I probably received 2 months ago). I'm attaching my
debug file. I've removed a series of reference to private folders of
mine and passwords.
