Confirming on Ubuntu 9.10 on 3 different machines, using the Main Menu applet
instead of the default custom Menu Bar.
My current work-around is to install xvkbd and add the following to Startup
Applications:
sh -c "sleep 5 && xvkbd -text '\A\[F1]' && xvkbd -text '\e'"

Andreas Moog: Confirming that your PPA gnome-panel package works on Jaunty
amd64.
I just had the same issue, downloaded your version and now clicking panel
launchers on the second screen starts them instead of reloading the panel.

It's become much worse with Jaunty :\
Now clicking on any (local or remote) folder anywhere (Desktop, home)
makes Nautilus try to mount the remote SSHFS folder (gives me a password
prompt). I haven't set any bookmarks.
If I open Thunar or browse my local file system in bash, everything's fine...

I know that, and I try not to report redundant bugs or intended features...
Just helping to improve Ubuntu.
I prefer Launchpad over Bugzilla (don't even have a login at the Gnome
tracker) and I think that this Nautilus issue is an error that has got
too little attention and needs fixing. Hence rep
May someone give a short answer on how to enable password timeout with Seahorse?
I can't find any options in gconf-editor or in the GUI itself.

The gconf-editor has (AFAIK) two settings for the keyboard backlight, both in
apps -> gnome
Confirming with Intrepid on a MacbookPro 3rd Gen Santa Rosa.
Setting a medium brightness level (about 50%) and suspending&resuming gives me
a 100% bright display.
The values provided by my brightness driver (applesmc) are still at the medium
value (50%), but gnome-power-manager ignores them.

If I don't start Cheese after booting, gstreamer-properties gives me a picture.
After starting Cheese, /dev/video0 is broken for gstreamer applications.
