This has screwed easily targetable corner buttons for everyone, not just

Yes, Nautilus'/GVFS' handling of SFTP timeouts is atrocious. Not sure
how this could happen with a brand-new 21st century rewrite of a network
backend, but nevermind.
As a workaround, try the following in a terminal:

Bruno, it's badged because it looks like the traffic stop sign in a lot
of countries. Cancel is different anyway - it means abandon what is
going on and go back to the way it was before. Stop means just that -
halt and stay where you got to.

The SVG isn't for inclusion BTW - I just included it as the source of
